Dresser Drawers - Fun Organizing Ideas

About every night before bed, I find myself browsing Pinterest. And one evening I found this cool idea . . .

Why on earth would you stack t-shirts in your dresser drawer when you can FILE them!?!?!?

So today when I put away the laundry, I took this opportunity to file Dave's t-shirts. All it required was a little refolding so they'd fit in the drawer neatly like this (sorry the pic is sideways, for the life of me I can't figure out why!!)

Then I headed over to my drawer and found my t-shirts in complete disarray in a sloppy stack.

So I just had to file mine as well. And throw away a few old ratty t-shirts. I'm constantly purging.

Gone are the days of wearing the same 2 shirts over and over cuz the others are buried in the bottom of the drawer. Dave already found a couple shirts he forgot he even had!!!

Gone are the days of knocking the whole stack over while trying to find that favorite shirt somewhere on the bottom.

I know this is day one, but I think I'm in love with filing clothes. I also did my underwear drawer and Dave's long underwear drawer. Just couldn't get enough. . .

And while we're on the subject of dresser drawers, anyone else have a sock organizer like this?

I've been using mine for the past 3 years or so since I found it at the Container Store. I don't think I'll ever go back.

What other ideas do you all have for dresser drawer organization?
